The Loar LH400 Roundhole Archtop Acoustic Guitar

All-solid archtop acoustics from The Loar honor pioneering jazz guitars of the early 20th century. These accurate replicas feature a solid top that’s meticulously hand-carved and graduated from select spruce. The archtops also feature solid flamed maple back and sides, two parallel tone bars, a trapeze-style tailpiece and an adjustable ebony bridge. The Loar archtops are revered by players and collector’s alike for their combination of ideal tone quality and carrying power.

In upgrading the classic design, these guitars were made with an easy-playing, slim profile and a fully adjustable truss rod for perfect alignment at all times. From the soundhole options to the original inlay detailing by veteran designer Greg Rich, these archtops are available in a variety of styles. Swing enthusiasts, blues players, jazz musicians and guitar aficionados are falling in love with The Loar archtops.
